Order Fulfilment and Manufacturing Assistant

Leatherwood Bespoke Rosin (LBR) is Australia’s first-ever producer of Stringed Instrument Rosin and other accessory products for the music industry (orchestral stringed instruments). This family business, located in Orange NSW, is a small and dynamic team who design, develop, invent, manufacture, and sell their stringed instrument products locally and internationally through retail, online and wholesale channels. LBR offers a relaxed, collaborative, and cooperative working environment, with mutual respect and support, and a positive and optimistic attitude and approach to colleagues and customers.

LBR are looking for a creative, organized and committed person to join the team to assist in online and wholesale order fulfilment, manufacturing and product assembly assistance, and related administration and customer service. The successful candidate will also work more broadly with and internationally based team of product representatives who attend trade fairs and other events overseas.

This role would suit candidates strong experience and qualifications in administration, including:
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize work
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Ability to work dynamically, with a positive attitude, in a small team, with a positive solution-based approach to problem solving and task management

The candidate will also be required to assist in product assembly, packaging, and manufacture, so a willingness to participate in creative, repetitive manual work is required. All training would be provided.

The music industry is a focused and niche industry, prior knowledge of the industry or music instrument products is not required by the role, however the role does ask for a creative-minded approach and an interest and willingness to learn more about this industry. A keen eye and strong attention to detail, and a commitment to presenting the brand and products at the highest standard are vital to the role. All relevant training will be provided on the job.

LBR is an Exporter, and member of the Australian Trusted Trader program with Australian Border Force and takes a strong approach to personnel and supply chain security.

STATUS: Part time or full time as negotiated. Minimum 3 days per week.
HOURS: 8am – 4:06pm incl minimum lunch break
REMUNERATION: Clerks Private Sector Award 2020 – level dependent on qualifications and experience
